Frequently asked questions

Is my document uploaded to a server?

No. The Word file is read and turned into a PDF in your browser, so it never leaves your device.

Will the PDF look exactly like in Word?

Very close, but not identical. Fonts are replaced by Roboto, so lines can wrap a little differently and the page count can change. Headers, footers, footnotes, comments, shapes and charts are not included yet.

Which files can I convert?

.docx files from Word 2007 or later, Google Docs or LibreOffice. Save old .doc files as .docx first. Pictures in JPG and PNG format are kept.

Does it work with every language?

It works with Latin, Cyrillic and Greek alphabets, including Vietnamese. Arabic, Hebrew, Chinese, Japanese, Korean, Indian and Thai scripts are not supported yet.
