Frequently asked questions
Will the file really be under 100 KB?
Yes. A KB is counted as 1,000 bytes, so the file is at most 100,000 bytes and passes forms that count either way. Images already under the limit are kept as they are.
Will the width and height change?
Only if needed. The tool first lowers the quality; if even a low quality is too big, it also reduces the width and height, as little as possible and keeping the proportions.
Are my images uploaded?
No. The images are compressed in your browser, so they never leave your device.
