Excel to PDF Converter

Turn an Excel spreadsheet into a PDF that anyone can open, print or attach to an email. Every sheet becomes a table on its own pages, with values as Excel shows them (dates, currencies, percentages), merged cells, cell colors and column widths. Wide sheets are shrunk to fit the page, and the text stays selectable. The file never leaves your device.

How to use Excel to PDF Converter

  1. Select your spreadsheet (.xlsx, .xls, .ods or .csv).
  2. Choose the page orientation and paper size, or keep Automatic.
  3. Click "Convert to PDF" to download the PDF.

Frequently asked questions

Is my spreadsheet uploaded to a server?

No. The file is read and turned into a PDF in your browser, so it never leaves your device.

What is included in the PDF?

Every sheet that has data, each starting on a new page with its name as a title. If a sheet has a print area, only that part is printed. Hidden rows and columns are left out, and the first row is repeated at the top of each page. Charts, pictures and comments are not included yet.

What happens with wide sheets?

With Automatic orientation, a sheet wider than a portrait page is printed in landscape. If it is still too wide, the text is made smaller (down to 6 pt) so all columns fit; beyond that, long text wraps inside its cell.

Are formats and languages kept?

Values are written as Excel displays them, with their number formats, dates and currencies, and cell background colors are kept. Text is drawn with a font as wide as Calibri, Excel's default; bold and font colors are not kept yet. Chinese, Japanese, Korean, Arabic, Hebrew, Hindi, Thai and many other scripts work.
