JPG to Word Converter

Frequently asked questions

Are my images uploaded?

No. The text is recognized in your browser. Only the recognition model for the language is downloaded, once; your images never leave your device.

Which layout should I choose?

Editable gives a normal Word document with paragraphs and tables, easiest to change. Exact keeps the image as the page background with the recognized text placed over it, so the page looks like the original; use it for forms.

How do I get the best result?

Use a sharp, well-lit photo taken straight on, with the page filling the picture. Turn sideways photos upright first with Rotate image, and crop away the table or desk with Crop image. Handwriting is usually not recognized.

Which languages can it read?

The 16 languages of this site, including Arabic, Hindi, Russian, Chinese, Japanese and Korean. English is always recognized as well.
